MÚSICA JAZZ

   In Unit 3 we have learnt what Jazz music is. There's no doubt this music has been a strong influence for the music of the  20th century.

     Bourbon Street is one of the most famous jazz songs in the 20s. Watch the video and pay attention to the musical instruments that play the music. 

 Bright Mississippi is one more jazz song. Watch the video. 

In the next video you can watch a Big Band. The Big Bands were created in the 40s. 

    Gospel music is the spiritual music of the black population who live in the USA. Gospel music comes from Jazz music. Watch the next video about one of the main themes o Sister Act II, the song Oh, happy day!

   SOUL music is a kind of music similar to Gospel. Here you can listen to Aretha Franklin singing Respect, one of her most known songs.
